Menu Page - Help Document
The dealer main menu is custom tailored to each primary and secondary user at each
account (dealership). Meaning, the screen is dynamically built with the options that are
available to each dealer by their class and authorized product lines.
The main menu options are located in the center of the page, just under the Brand
logos that each dealer is authorized to sell and/or service. The main options are used to
group related sub-options. The main options are divided to serve three areas - Applications,
Manuals & Documents, and Sales & Marketing.
Applications includes options to enter orders, warranty claims, Product registrations,
and other functional applications.
It is "Real Time". You are actually entering the data directly into our system.
The edits and validation is against real and current data. When you check availability it is reliable.
When you place an order, it reserves the quantity for you. On an average, when you create a parts
order, it is picked, packed and shipped within minutes. To prove that you can go to the order inquiry
and track the status of your order.
Manuals & Documents gives you access to almost all owners, parts, and service manuals that
have ever been produced in up to eleven languages. You can view or print any of them at any time.
Service bulletins are available as soon as they are created by the Technical Service Department.
Sales & Marketing contains options to view current Marketing programs, pricing information,
and financing choices.
To view the selection of sub-options for each of the main options, you simply have to position
the cursor on the main option and the sub-options will popup on the right side of the screen.
To select a sub-option you just position the cursor over the sub-option (it will highlight) and
you then left click the mouse. Each option was designed to be intuitive and require very little
instruction to use. There is, however, additional help text on those options which require you
to enter information. You only have to click on the "Help" button at the bottom of the screen.
The main menu screen also shows you the most recent news, promotions, and services through a
scrolling window located just below the main options. This area is used to announce new menu
options, new sales promotions, or news that we want you to see as soon as possible. This window
will scroll three complete times and then stop so it will not become annoying. If you want it to
start again you can move your cursor in and out of the area and it will re-start.
The menu screen also has "links" to some other useful options. The "Question? Contact Us" link
on the left will take you to an email option screen that allows you to communicated to any
department at Ariens. You can even send your assigned sales representative an email.
The "Change Dealer Information" link allows you to directly change your business contact information.
This includes phone and fax numbers, email addresses, web site address, and contact names.
You can even setup security to this menu for your employees. Use the help button on that screen
to help you with the security and any other functions on that screen.
The lower left side of the screen has links to feature applications. This is for applications that
are hosted outside our system by specialized companies that we have contracted to provide you with
the unique services. They include options such as "Parts Radar" - a parts lookup application.
There are usually Marketing sponsored services such as APOD and ImagePro. These options may be
resticted to certain dealers depending on their purchasing level. If you don't see or have access
to one, and you think you should, you should call or contact us.
Any other questions about the main menu can be directed to
